Cauliflower Cheese Recipe

Should we trust in our guts and eat what we like or better to err on the side of caution? Let’s make this cauliflower cheese to find it out!

As I recently have a little time, I had been searching on the internet the other day. In need of new, exciting ideas, inspirational dishes that We have never used before, to amaze my family with. Searching for quite some time but couldn’t discover too many interesting things. Right before I wanted to give up on it, I came upon this tempting and simple dessert simply by luck on Suncakemom. It looked so scrumptious on its pic, that called for quick action.

It was not difficult to imagine the way it is made, its taste and how much my husband will love it. Actually, it is rather easy to keep happy the man when it comes to treats. Anyway, I went to the webpage and then followed the step-by-step instuctions that had been combined with nice snap shots of the method. It just makes life rather easy. I can imagine that it’s a bit of a hassle to shoot photos in the midst of cooking in the kitchen as you may normally have sticky hands so that i highly appreciate the time and effort she put in to build this post and recipe easily implemented.

With that said I’m empowered presenting my very own recipe in a similar fashion. Thanks for the idea.

I had been tweaking the original formula to make it for the taste of my loved ones. I’ve got to tell you it was an incredible outcome. They prized the flavor, the consistency and loved getting a sweet such as this during a lively week. They quite simply requested lots more, more and more. Hence next time I’m not going to make the same mistake. I am likely to double the volume .

This Cauliflower Cheese Grills is from SunCakeMom.

Break the cauliflower apart into smallish florets then put them into a steamer.

Steam cook the cauliflower, which should take about 10 – 15 minutes once the water is starting to boil.

Prepare the sauce by melting butter on medium heat then add the grated cheese, mustard and cream. Add salt, pepper or any favorite spice or herbs if desired. Mind that mature cheddar is salty.

Mix everything well together.

Place the cauliflowers into an oven proof dish and pour the sauce over them. Ideally the sauce should cover all the florets.

Place the cauliflowers into a 390°F / 200°C preheated oven until golden brown spots start to appear on top for about 15 – 20 minutes.
