Cauliflower Casserole Keto

This casserole has everything a joyful dinner needs. Browned ground meat hidden under creamy sour cream and grilled cheese. Guaranteed merriment, no carbs.

As I currently have a little time, I had been searching on the web a few days ago. In search of fresh, challenging ideas, inspiring dishes that I have never tasted before, to amaze my family with. Searching for a while but couldn’t discover any interesting things. Just before I wanted to give up on it, I found this delicious and simple dessert by chance at Suncakemom. The dessert looked so scrumptious on its image, it required instant actions.

It had been easy to imagine just how it is made, its taste and just how much my husband will like it. Mind you, it is extremely simple to please him in terms of treats. Anyway, I went to the blog and followed the simple instuctions that have been combined with wonderful graphics of the operation. It really makes life rather easy. I could imagine that it’s a slight inconvenience to take photos down the middle of cooking in the kitchen as you may will often have gross hands so I pretty appreciate the hard work she placed in for making this blogpost and recipe easily followed.

Having said that I am encouraged to present my personal dishes in a similar fashion. Thanks for the thought.

I was tweaking the main recipe to make it for the taste of my loved ones. Need to say it absolutely was a great success. They prized the flavor, the overall look and enjoyed getting a delicacy such as this in the middle of a hectic workweek. They ultimately wanted even more, more and more. Hence the next occasion I am not going to commit the same mistake. I’m likely to twin the amount to keep them happy.

Pour oil into a frying pan and heat it up

Place the sliced onion and salt in the pan and saute it on high heat until it gets a glassy / translucent look for about 3-5 minutes.

Turn the heat down and occasionally stirring start caramelize the onion until it gets a golden brown color.

Stir a crushed clove of Garlic and cook it until fragrant.

Mix the minced meat with the onion and stir fry it until all the pinkish color is gone and starts to brown. This takes about 10 – 15 minutes.

Cut up a cauliflower into pieces and slices then lay it on the bottom and sides of the baking tray. Also use the optional vegetables here.

Pour the stir-fried minced meat on top of the cauliflower bed.

Spread sour cream on top. If it seems too hard to pour add a bit of water but be careful as it gets runny quickly.

Optionally fill up some holes with the extra vegetables.

Sprinkle cheese on top.

Place it into the oven on 350°F / 180°C oven.

When the vegetables get the desired texture and the cheese gets the golden brown color in about 30 – 40 minutes take it out of the oven and let it cool.
